*GASPS* IT'S HERE......

On Boxing Day, at 6:30pmish, i received a call from my friend Shirley. "TEE results are out". Hmm, if she were not my friend, i would have hung up on her. Luckily, i was at work. Sort of...I forgot i changed shifts with Huong, so i turned up for nothign, but i still got my free games, and some bubble tea...

Anyway, i talked to her for 30mins or so, and 10 mins after we did finished talking, my friend John called me, also informing TEE results have been revealed online. What joy. I really do want to procrastinate this revelation, but if there are so many asking....

So what do i do, in a 38 degree day, with a non-working air conditioning unit at timezone: I played DDR.

My refuge to "de-stress" from exams, became my shelter from the anxiety that would torment me as more people thought they were doing me a favour by telling me...How wrong they were...

I did better than i thought i would, considering the lack of study, and my inability to refuse my ONE FREE GAME - EVERYDAY. I tell you, my faithful readers, that if the TER cut-offs remain the same for Pharmacy as it were in 2006, then i would be able to squeeze in. However, if the rumours of raising the TER cut-offs to around 94, i'm out.

I'll pray about it, and see how it goes. All the best for your results.

"Quick" Summary

My 87% in discrete maths was no where near my TEE. Apparently i got a raw examination score of 73% in DM.....After reading that, I could have killed someone. Then i remembered, i played DDR, and i felt emotionally stable once again....

Passed English, despite my doubts on my essay writing abilities...

Applic went alright. i wasn't intending on counting it, but not studying and getting in the 3rd percentile......Hmmm......Must be because i'm Asian....

Econs was surprising. Everyone said it was easy, and i thought it was somewhat difficult. Well, i got 20% more in TEE than i did in mocks, and 35% more that in 1st semester.....I currently have a strong distaste for Trinity College Economics teachers.....

Finally, Chemistry, which was taken on my b'day. Went ok. Not my best result. Was not scaled at all.

Overall.....I'm just happy i beat my sister, Lisa :P

In the Groove

I went to Timezone today, to visit, as you do when you work...I was generous enough to bring pizza for Penguin and Chad. The ordered it from Dominos, and i just delivered it cause i had nothing better to do. But it was not wasted. I was to deliver the MOST EXPENSIVE PIZZA i have ever seen.

So i pass a $20 note to the guy, and he gives me change. $4.05.....What the....Is this guy gypping me of $10? Turns out, ONE pizza set him back $15.95......Why? The pizza had 7 different meats and TRIPLE cheese. Eww, How unhealthy... But it was the BEST. It just melts in your mouth. *Drools* I not only got one slice of this grand piece of art, but also the change. $4.05....SCORE!

I then challenged Kristy and Ryoko to DDR, and Percussion Master. I work there, play almost every game, so i like to tone down my PRO status. But my above average skills were no match for Ryoko's high score in Percussion Master. Kristy and i thought we might also jump in the picture, but we were cut off by the frame anyway...

There's also a new game in TZ. Deal or No Deal. I took the liberty to test the game out. If you pay twice, you have a chance to win 200 tickets. I knocked out the top two figures in the first round. But my last two cases were worth 2 tickets and 80 tickets. My original aim was to beat Penguin, who got 40 tickets. My offer was 41 tickets, but you only live once. So NO DEAL.

Case No. 10, chosen by Richard Chew, was worth a GRAND 2 tickets....I was paid out by everyone - my manager (Chad), Penguin, even the customers i serve.....

End of the day, Kristy and i went to play In the Groove 2. An amped up version of DDR. It looked so nice, and i was tempted to play, until i saw it costs $2.....Not that i'm stingy, but why pay $2, when you pay $1.40 at TZ, and during the school holidays, if you upload $20, you get $10 free credit...

We did play. Bumble Bee was the best song. Then we died in the next one........2 songs for $2? Nah, nah, nah

Tomorrow i'll be going to the licensing centre to get my learner's theorey test out of the way. I'll be going with Lisa, David and Kristy. Then i can finally drive a real car, not one i race with in Maximum Tune 3....

The Joys of Work

When i first started, i told my manager i would be able to work as many shifts as possible throughout the week. In the past week, i've worked 5 of my last 7 days, the max for any CSA staff member.

I am going to be completely wasted tomorrow. I started at 4:30pm since my friend Huong had to leave early. She finished at 6, which was when i was supposed to start, ending at 2am. Turns out, i ended at 3am. Why? Cause there were bins that required cleaning, which certainly took a lot of our time.

I did however take the time to come to church somewhat early (9:30; 30 mins late). Drifting in and out of consciousness during the service, i did however stay awake throughout the service, unlike Joshua, who sat beside me...

After church, i went to play tennis at UWA, which was awesome. The partnership of P's/Christ Church & Trinity/ Jason and Richard defeated Kevin and Kenn in the Semi's, and went on to defeat GaHing and Edward in the Finals. During the interviews, team mates were in completely synchronised:

Richard: "Well we had our good moments, except when we lost Love to game as i served four consecutive double faults. Nah -"
Jason: "Nah, Nah, Nah. But representing PKingdom, we were victorious. Our P aura was to great for our opponents to surpass"

My right hand is now incredibly sore. Someone decided to torment me by pressing my pressure point in between my thumb and index finger. Combining the bruising with excessive PRO TENNIS MOVES, my hand will be injured for the next few days....

I'm off to work now, starting at 7, finishing at 12. More vacuuming for me. What joy....

Zoning Out Of Time

My First Night shift last night: 7:30pm to 12:00 midnight. Apparently Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays are the busiest nights. What does Wed bring? Wed means counting up all the stock in every machine, including the only one i helped out in....Sweet Land 4.

Sweet Land 4 sounds sweet, and the chocolate inside (eg. maltesers, bounty, twix and M&M's) are SO tasty. There's like so many in the machine, that many kids like i drool over the sphere-like windshield; the only thing holding me back from that sweet Chocohol...

The problem about it is that we have to count every sing one.......Handpicking them all, we brought it to the counter and counted the lollies first, adding a dash to the tally for every 50 lollies. A total of 911 lollies were in the machine, 3 of which i won whilst testing if it works.....Ok, i pretended i didn't know how it worked, and three fantales came out.

The delectable chocolates weren't counted by me. James, my assistant manager, must have saw that stalkerish stare i was giving those vulnerable, kid size packs. But i was immediately taken aback when i picked up a couple in my hand. At first, it felt like pure gold. And pure gold is soft, and malleable. Wait....Soft, and malleable? Turns out, the chocolate were melting under the light in the Sweet Land 4. Would they expire at a quicker rate? Hmm...questionable lollies and chocolate in that machine. I am now off chocolate.....for 24 hours. I'm a chocoholic, i can't help it...

I finished my 1.5 litre bottle of water at 9:05. *Sigh* It sure is a long night. But i soon got into a debate with one of the other workers there.

Richard: HAha, those thwo over there on DDR are turning around. Such arrogance...Do you like DDR?
Seton: NOPE! I think it's one of the worst games that came out. But people seem to like it...
Richard: :O.........How can you say that? It's one of the BEST games EVER!

Anyhow, we got through that one, and at 11, i was a little tipsy. It was past my bedtime, and i wanted to go home. But as a CSA (Customer Service Attendant), we are expected to do a few jobs here and there. This includes cleaning a few games, using some windex on glass/plastic screens, and the they one that gave me such great joy, vacuuming everywhere there was carpet.

The vacuum is HUGE. And it has TWO suction motors. TWICE THE POWER, TWICE THE PAIN. Oh gosh, it was so fun when i started. It was SO freaking loud that i interrupted conversation throughout the whole store. Even threw off the DDR athletes and drummers. Hehehe....

I was happily vacuuming, until i stopped mid swing. Ah, minor stall, so i continued. Stopped again....The suction power was so great, it was getting stuck on the ground, forcing me to use both hands. A 10 min job for my superviser, took me 45 mins to complete. Hmm...Very efficient use of resources.....

Slipping in and out of consciousness, i was able to get through my first night shift, but this Sat, i'm working till 2. Not to worry. I'm in Northbridge, aka, Perth's City of Bubble Tea.

*At Tea Fusion*
Can I have Winter Kisses with Aloe Jelly.

Friday, December 7

My First Day...

Hi there, how can i help you?......$5?......Here you go, have a nice day.

The generic phrase I will use throughout the rest of my timezone career.

With a new timezone shirt, I felt at home in the Northbridge district. I'm not only Asian, but I work in NB, and that gave me a new sense of respect. Especially that personalised Name badge I have. I'm not a no-name customer anymore. I am Trainee....

When there are no customers at the counter, I can play free video games to gain a greater understanding of the game. I also fixed two machines: The Match Maker one and the Slam and Jam Machine #1. I also helped a friend win a cute Mickey and Minnie Mouse plushie at Skill Tester, but we should keep that one on the QT...

Redeeming tickets is a pain. Searching, and finding the right item will take me a while to get used to. The worst, however, was cleaning the machines. I thought it was a simple wipe over the guns of Time Crisis 4, Silent scope, some cop one, and the buttons of Virtual Striker 4. Turns out, I was expected to clean above the tops of the machines as well.

Being the naive newbie that i was, I used a duster. I mean, dusters are used to dust away dust, is it not? How wrong i was....The dust flung everywhere; on my new, and beloved TZ shirt, my hair, my eyes. Ahh, the pain...When my vision returned, I see my manager, Chad, grinning at my failed attempt.

"You can try using these wet cloths" *passes me bucket full of detergent water* "That way, the dust won't get everywhere, like your shirt...."
Hmm....maybe you should have told me that before.....

By the way, the dust particles were in all shades between Dark Grey and Black, but I'm sure it blended well with my lashes......

Apart from the dust, the cleaning standards at TZ are better than I expected. Each machine is rotated on the cleaning roster, every fortnight. Even though I thought they were never cleaned....Forcing me to clean the machines must be some sort of retribution......

Other than that, it is the occasional friend who comes along and asks for a FREE game or toy. As charming as you may be, I'm sorry to tell you that company policy is against me giving away free games, and I am forced to stick with this if it is my life dream is to further my career opportunities at Timezone...

Helping To Further Lower The Unemployment Rate

As of today, I am no longer unemployed. It sure is a great feeling;
  • to finally be of some use to society,
  • to have some money in my wallet to spend
  • a distraction as my brother goes to Melbourne without me :(....
I turned up to the interview at 2:25, (only 5 minutes early...) dressed in the best dress shirt, and new pair of jeans i had. My attire and my charismatic personality: What an AWESOME combination! After the paperwork, the interview went very smoothly. I could relate to the scenarios he laid out, helped greatly by me frequent patronage at the store.

  • How would you deal with a frustrated customer, who believes the cupid machine stole his money for being rigged?
    • Hmm....Maybe today isn't your day. These machines rely on pure luck, and even I, someone who works here, can't get a toy on a single attempt. But I can reposition the toys for you.
  • What if an attractive girl asked you for a free toy?
    • Haha, I'm sorry, but I've got to follow regulations, and you're not worth my job...
Chad, the store manager, called me earlier today: "Hey Richard....You've got the job"
My initial reaction.....I cried.....No of course I didn't. But i was overwhelmed. After that call, i could not help but sing praises.

I probably start work on Friday. In case anyone is interested, I told him i would be availible any day of the week, except Sunday until 4. Which means I would not be able to make a few youth programs.

As of today, I am officially part of the team at the place of my refuge when I was stressed during my exams, the place where you'll find me playing DDR in odd coloured socks, the place I work at...TIMEZONE We satisfy all your gaming desires...

To Be, Or Not To Be......

Is there a finite line between being straight and gay? How is a man defined as being gay?

These responses were taken from a random group of males:
  • Enjoys shopping
  • Like to wear the colour pink
    • Pink is a happy colour. People see pink, and become happy..........
  • Are obsessed of creating hearts
    • Making hearts is a way of sharing the love. And who wouldn't want to share the love?
  • Addicted to taking photos of people and one's ownself (aka. camera whore)
  • If they frequently hug other men
    • I hugged Ken today because it is his birthday on Thursday. What better than to share the love with someone who has given so much time, money and effort to me. It was the least i could do. I also hugged David because a certain someone was bullying him.
  • Uses a blow dryer?...
  • Wears a weird smile in pictures
    • No.....you can't look at the picture on my SmartRider
  • Enjoys wearing tight clothing or extremely small bags
    • It was my little sister's bag. But why would i hold it when i can wear it...And I was setting a new fashion trend,..
Ok, so if this is how a sample of the male population distinguishes a straight from a gay man, then I guess i'm gay....

Hmm....hang on a sec...I'm fairly certain i like women, even if i do have these so-called homosexual tendencies. But these were not done without reason. So what am i? Am i Gay? Or Straight?

Well, spending five years in an all-male high school, and often seen in photos like these, I have decided to come clean.

Oh gosh...I am straight.

As for the picture; do not be fooled, this is a picture of the Ping Brothers. There is nothing wrong with a family picture, now is there.

All the best for those going overseas this week.

How am i going to spend my holidays when my brother, David, is gone?
With girls of course.....

The Story of a Hungry Boy....

"The blistering heat recorded at 42 degrees...Hottest it has been in months....Reports of people melting on the streets of Perth"

In my house, sheltered from the burning sunlight, i watched many walk pass my house. All of whom glistening with sweat. Glad i'm not out there. It seemed painful for those outside to stand, let alone walk, with the rays of sunlight were attacking every unprotected being, reducing them to a unrecognisable liquid form. I pity all those who still have school.

And then it hit me. A sharp, piercing sensation, tearing into me. I had a sudden urge to eat...

There was nothing at home that could satisfy my desire to eat. I had to venture to the Esplanade, the only place offering First Class food. And i enjoy nothing more than to spend my time eating.

Chucking some clothes on, popping on my precious Bertie Beetle hat, i left my safe refuge and headed towards the big city.

Aargh! My eyes! My first step into the world was...filled with pain. As painful as it were, i continued on, knowing i would soon have my one and only meal, in my very hands.

The light attacked me from all sides. Depite how prepared i came (shirt, 3/4 pants, hat), i was forced to endure much pain. I made many friends on my journey, for they were willing to offer me some shelter against the intense attack of sunlight. The most memorable friend was a tree i named KaTreeNa...

My journey was stalled as i found more and more travellers, trying to make their way home. But i could not be late, because eating has always been on a tight schedule. If my hunger is not satisfied, i don't know what i would do. So i had to make sure i was early, and wait patiently for my beloved.

Before reaching my final destination, the Esplanade, i took a short detour to a nearby Boost store to buy myself a Banana Buzz. A cold refreshing drink to revitalise my health, and nothing better than to combine this life-saving drink and eating together. To come up with such a plan. Genius!

I arrived at the Esplanade, with two straws in hand. Why two straws? Eating and drinking on the same straw might be awkward for some, so perhaps eating and drinking should have one straw, and another straw when an opportunity for eating is no longer availible.

4:02 No sign of eating, but i should not doubt. It's Monday, i should be able to eat soon...

4:10 Anytime now....

4:15 Hmm...It's OK, there's still 15 mins

4:20 Is that - no, i'm mistaken.....

4: 30 .........*grumble*.........No word, not even a message back with an explanation.

I was starving, and there is nothing that could satisfy my hunger, so i left the Esplanade, and found a patch of grass outside. *Stumble* I had saved my drink to enjoy for eating, but there i laid. Hot, alone and hungry as ever. I felt so...insignificant. A message to tell me "i would not be able to eat" would have been nice. A phone call would have made a me happier than buying half-priced waffles on Tuesday.

But there was nothing. I guess no one felt the need to share the love. The rays of light hit the boy's body, but he didn't care. He was hit, wave by wave of heat, by he didnt move to the shelter of his friends, the trees. No, they didnt move to more than an inch to help. The leaves on the tree swayed, almsot cheering the boy's tormentors, but he did not moved. His spirit was too crushed for him to move a muscle. His desire to eat at the Esplanade was his Kryptonite, sealed his fate.

He laid there, on the grass, by his lonesome self, with nothing to satisfy his hunger...

This boy died on Monday, 12th of November, 2007. If someone was willing to share some love, and allowed him to hold precious memories of eating at the Esplanade, this young boy could have bought half-priced waffles today. He did, however, leave a note, one he wrote in his half-conscious state:

"Hungry. I like Eating forgive by hugs"

Exam-Free

TEE was terrible. i had a Chem exam on my birthday, and then 4 exams in a row. The good thing is that i finished on friday, which means i can go out and party with the few that have also finished. First thing is first, the Wii.

Lisa, my sister, bought the family a Wii console two months ago, but before i could tear it open, i was forbidden from touching it until after TEE. Thinking it was a joke, "Pfft, haha, very funny, now where is it?.,...". Well it wasnt a joke, and it was locked away from me, tormenting me, especially since i was not granted 1 hour of gameplay on my birthday....

Regardless, i had my first taste of it on friday night, after my discrete exam. Started slow with golf, before releasing all my tension in boxing

What to do now. Most of my friends are studying, and i wouldnt want to disturb them, no no, i wouldn't.....But what if i were there to motivate them to study, or to help them take a study break. Hmmm....

As i sit on the couch, licking my ice cream cone, i realise there is more to holidays than being beaten by my little sister in bowling....I'm going to get myself a job

Graduates of Oh7

My brother, David, graduated on Friday, at Winthrop Hall. There was a long procession as the 200 or so Yr 12s walked to their seats. David was last, because he was in the last class, with Yat as his last name.

As soon as he appeared, i stood up, but he wasnt looking at my general direction. I felt slightly hurt, but then concluded he was checking out the girls in the crowd. I forgive you david ;P

When he did however look, i started cheering, jumping up and down, arms raised to the ceiling, screaming "I LOVE YOU DAVID!".

David: .....*turns away*

:O SHATTERED!!! Rejected by my own brother...

I turned up to the graduation with an empty stomach, so the "interesting" presentation of awards was multiplied ten-fold. There were cookies at the end though. David and i took the liberty to test each variety for edibility...That, and it was a free dinner...They were on the table, so there was nothing stopping Dav and i raiding the plates full of bisuits. Well it's not like they said "Max. of 4 per person....", and i was starving......But they did offer........

Now that i think about it, would it be stingy if i were to bring a bag and filled it up with a plate of cookies.......

My Graduation was on Sunday, 28th Oct (Luvena's b'day). Nothing interesting, and to be extremely blunt, no one came personally for me. Family and friends outside of school were either busy, or did not bother coming :(

Plus, i went to the graduation dinner, by my lonesome self once again. I hear if you keep telling yourself you have friends, it will eventually come true.....

It's ok, i'm emotionally stable. You can check my wrists if you're still uncertain.

I met my friend on Tues, which made everything better. I tried scaring them by impersonating a stalker, but they spotted me beforehand, even noting that i brought my Trinity bag.

Now i'm off to study for chem, especially since the exam is tomorrow, and i have done 30mins worth of study this week... Too much Timezone. I've got to limit myself to one game of DDR a day, especially since i get 1 free game, everyday :)

Btw, in Woolies, Lindt chocolate is being sold for $2 each. I've bought like 10. I was finding it hard to combine my Chocoholic behaviour with my Stinginess -- until i found these Lindt chocs on special....

UMAT-type challenge

I've always been a fan for those problem solving questions that force you to think outside the box? I like to think my intelligence is above the average human, and in my Discrete exam, we were presented with a fabulous Venn Diagram question. I was able to solve it within the given time, and will scan it when i get it back. Being the arrogant kid that i am, i found an IQ test apparently tested for job applicants in Japan. Remembering my triumph in Discrete, i was more than happy to strut my awesomeness once again.

The lady who posted it took 20 minutes, and her boyfriend 10 minutes. I finished it in 8 minutes, and feeling the desire to satisfy inflate my ego furthermore, i decided to see the comments of others who had also completed the challenge:

flotz says:5 months ago
this "test" is not japanese, more likely it is
chinese. anyhow, it is fun 1:30

filip says:5 months ago
5 minutes :-I

Kelly says:5 months ago
I did it in 42 seconds.

Kavitha says:6 months ago
This only took me about 2 minutes. Did you
know that a 4th grader in japan has to take a harder test than this and has to
do it in 2 and a half minutes. I am only 12.

....That last one completely, and utterly crushed me. It wasn't just the simple step to squash me like the bug that i am, Kavitha squished me to such an extent, that i cringe at the sight of every 12 yr old i know......And Kelly could - no, is at least the age of 21...................................

If anyone is interested, in trying out this game, the site is http://freeweb.siol.net/danej/riverIQGame.swf

There are rules, so read this beforehand, especially since the instructions are in jap.

Instructions
Click on link above and then click on the big blue circle to start. To move the people, click on them. To move the raft, click on the pole on the opposite side of the river. You must follow the rules below.

Will You Help Me Uphold Tradition?

Yesterday, i had my first Mocks exam: English. How did I go? The more i think about it, the worse i feel. So i caught a cat (free transport - SCORE!) to the city/library. I thought i might do a bit of Chemistry study, for my exam later today. Feeling slightly depressed from English, i searched for ways to express how i was feeling, without becoming emo. It was Tuesday ---- Half Price Waffles

Not wanting to eat waffels alone like a loner, i asked those around me, who were studying so hard until i came. "Do you want to eat waffles? It's Half Price Tuesdays, and you know what that means". They were full of hesitation, so out of desperation, "But it's tradition to have waffles on Tuesdays....It'll take 30 minutes, max...".
Anna: "OK, 30 mins, *points* Max, ok?".

We ended up going for 1 hour and 20 minutes......my bad....Ok, so my sense of punctuality is pretty bad, but at least my sense of direction actually lead us to Gelare...and then to Pot Black....

Btw, we didnt even have waffles. Apparently waffles are $6.80 now, and on Tues it'll be $3.40. That's 40c more than what i'm willing to pay beacause only last week, i could buy my half-price waffles for $3.00 and spend 40c at HJ's to chuck a cone over it....I'm not stingy.....

Now i want to ask you a quesiton. Have you ever said something, out of desperation, just because you wanted something or someone to be with you? Share your experiences here.

North Shore: TEE Success College

I/my dad decided to sign me up to TEE tuition classes at this supposed success college called north shore. My first impression: seemed like it was filled with a studious bunch of fellow yr 12s/they were ALL Asian.... Economics is taught by Mr Banks, who teaches at Aranmore Senior High School. He's a great guy. Knows his stuff. The thing is, he thinks i play hockey, and contantly ridicules me in class because of my lack of punctuality. Talk about encouraging the student....Now that there is only 4 gifted Econs students left, it's a lot easier for Banksy to point out me (the dud) from the rest.

I had my first Chemistry class today. My friend Jason said everyone quit Chem, except for Irene. Thinking this was going to be another small, tight class, i thought i might turn up to class without any socks on. Living a 5 min walk away, the risk was definitely worth it. It wasnt like anyone there would care anyway. Being the hobo that i am, i turned up with only my pencil, knowing well that my sweaty feet could not be comforted without socks. i guess there won't be too many people complaining...

Entering the centre, it seemed all too quiet. I checked which class the Chem class was assigned, and walked in only to see the teacher talking gibberish (later i found out it was Physics) and i saw a few familiar faces. Irene, Dennis, Vinh (the kid i copied answers from for Intro Calc last year at the "college" who happened to be 2 years younger than myself....how disgraceful.....), Kevin, Yenni (from highgate primary) and Janet (from Rossmoyne). Half of these left. In the end, there was only 6 people sitting in for Chem. Irene, Joanna, Dennis, Janet, her friend (i forgot her name...), Mei ling, and myslef.

Turns out, the Chem teacher is the same as the Phys teacher. No lost respect in that, until he failed to correctly explain core Chemistry fundamentals... In the multichoice section, there was a question: "How many electrons are there in Zinc at it's ground state?" My logic was ground state means the atom in question is not excited. Regardless, it should have 30 electrons since it has an atomic number of 30. WRONG! For some reason, the answer is 2....I felt the urge to stab him, but instead reasoned that it was not the teacher's incompotency, but the typist's because it was not typed correctly. It should have read, "How many valence electrons are there in the ground state of Zinc?".

For one of the short answers, we were discussing reaction processes, and drawing the graph concerning potential energy after reaction. "It's an endothermic reaction" Mr S tells us, only to draw an endothermic graph (Those who do not do Chemistry, he drew the reverse diagram). Ok, somy dad is paying this guy about $20 an hour, and he can't draw a simple diagram for me....

Apart from the teacher, i feel like the dumbest person there. I'm the only one asking questions to clarify the answers, and everyone seemed to have finihsed the booklet before i started the 2nd question. Despite all opf this, i like to think i outsmarted the whole lot of them on one equilibrium question.

"What can decrease the percentage of ionisation of a weak acid?"

As i was drifting in and out of consciousness. i remembered my great Chem teacher, Mr Hay, saying something about a strong acid can decrease the rate of ionisation of a weak acid because of competing equilibrium, or somehting of the sort. Not too sure, i decide to throw it out to the group. "i think it's A...what do you guys think?". Most of them said C. Well they were wrong. Mr S called A, i felt a surge of arrogance get the best of me and as i decided to let these A-grade students acknowledge my awesomeness. Janet's friend (and i will find out her name) looked back at me, "i don't listen to anything you say...".......I can't tell what's worse. To have my spirits crushed like a bug, or to get hit in the crouch by Paul Ramondo....

Classes go on for another 5 weeks. These are the joys of a Yr12 student.....

Graduation Breakfast and Assembly - CANCELLED!

In the last period of class, the principal came personally to each classroom to present to us all, a letter of apology (/reason to blame the year 12's) for the cancellation of the traditional graduation breakfast and assembly. We were expected to turn up at 7:30 to eat breaky with our fellow friends and family, in the Trinity spiritual nature. But because the executives of Trintiy College feel our recent sporting achievements has essentuated our youthful arrogance and sense of invincibility, rational decisions were made swiftly.

It all started yesterday, with the commencement of the Prefects vs. Teachers soccer match. A tradition that is held year-after-year, what alternative could strengthen the relationship amongst the student body and teachers than to put them into seperate teams to fight head to head.

Prefects drew first blood as we took one away from the teachers. Overcome by emotion and a great sense of achievement in the air, celebration rose up from the crowd and a rumble erupted. Students ran onto the field, jumping joyously at the goal, only until the teachers left the pitch 10mins early due to the lack of discipline of the crowd....

When the students returned from the game, they went to their lockers reluctantly. Not only were the students upset by the lack of playing time on the field, but were met with a powerful stench from the end of a corridor. Turns out, God forbid, someone had decided to chuck a dump on a Year 12 Religon Test Paper. Not only did they decide to make our prestigous school smell like a toilet, they decided to make their mark on a religon test paper. Since religon is the core foundation of the school, the top dogs were not too happy...

Turning up to school today, i find eggs splattered all over our lockers. Of course, it is "Muck up" Day afterall. Some of the yoke got on my discrete book. You can tell i was shattered -_-...Called into a meeting, the Year 12 cohort was interrogated, and were told explicitly: "If no one is going to confess to these actions, there will be NO reason for you to turn up tomorrow. UNDERSTOOD! No breakfast, no graduation ceremony, and none of you can get their T-shirts signed, is that clear?"

So here i am, typing up the events of that took place, knowing there is absolutely no reason for me to be in school tomorrow. *sigh* If those responsible were to 'fess up, we would have listened to Head Boy, Barbas, give an honourable speech, and i could've enjoyed a FREE breakfast. Now all i have to look forward to is the term break holidays, which comprises of my wonderful MOCKS exams and playing Ping Pong with PK and Pette....
